Nikola Vranjković is a cult figure in the Belgrade rock scene, known as a poet, composer, and music producer. For over a decade, he was a key creative force in the Belgrade band Block Out, with whom he recorded four studio albums: "Crno Belo i Srebrno" (1994), "Godina sirotinjske zabave" (1996), "San koji srećan sanjaš sam" (1998), and "Ako imaš s kim i gde" (2005). His first solo album, "Za ovde ili za poneti," was released in 2001, accompanied by a book of poems with the same title. After the disbandment of Block Out, he released the mini-album and book "Bremeplov" in 2014 (with musicians from bands Darkwood dub, Orthodox Celts, and Goribor) and the double album "Veronautika" (named after the eponymous song recorded with Damir Martinović Mrle of Let3) in November 2017. In December 2019, he released the triple live album "Biološki Minimum," recorded at a concert in Kombank Hall in Belgrade. In May 2022, he released a mini-album with four songs titled "Teorija zabave."

According to Dragan Ambrozić, his position in the independent music scene is unique and independent—a phenomenon that has endured in various forms for over twenty-five years. For the album "Godina sirotinjske zabave" in 1996, where he first appeared as the complete author of music and lyrics, he received the City of Belgrade award for the album of the year. The album "Veronautika" was voted by the listeners of Radio Belgrade 202 as the best album of 2017. Nikola Vranjković is the recipient of the "Strune od svetla" award, recognizing his special contribution to the promotion of poetic expression in rock and blues music. In Duško Antonić's book "Kako nije propao rokenrol u Srbiji - sto najboljih domacih albuma od raspada SFRJ," which compiles the voices of all eminent domestic music critics, he holds the second position, right after the band Partibrejkers. Alongside Nikola Vranjković, the band features drummer Vladan Božilović, bassist Miroslav Uzarević, guitarists Danilo Nikodinovski, Milan Vučković, and Ivan Zoranović, who also plays keyboards.
